Marian’s recent ongoing series of prints The allotment is a look back over her allotment growing season during lockdown when the world stopped, the sun shone and an afternoon down the allotment felt rebellious. ‘The seeds were sown on the first day of lockdown, they became a visible marker of the time passing, the cabbages grew massive lacy leaves as we slowly lost the war on caterpillars and the beetroots and leeks were a huge success.’
