About:
Make a print block and print your own canvas tote bag. During this workshop you will first learn to make a simple printing block of your own design using cut foam arranged on a wooden block. You can then experiment & explore some of the basic principles of pattern repeat and placement before committing your unique design to your tote bag.
You will also get a chance to print a design on a piece of cotton fabric (approx 40cm x 40cm) to take away and use in a small sewing project at home or perhaps in another textile workshop.
All materials are provided but you are welcome to bring in any extra fabric to print if you wish.
