A short course over three mornings in exploring drawing, printmaking techniques and collage to create a unique artists sketchbook. You may wish to use yours on your next traveling adventure perhaps, become a visual diary or workbook for your creative projects.
Sasha is an experienced tutor and professional artist, creating fabulous designs that incorporate drawing, printmaking, collage and stitch. During this three session course she will show you how to combine techniques to create your own unique book to take home with you. Interspersing your designs with blank areas for you to fill at a later date.
You'll explore simple printing techniques including monoprint and collagraph, gaining inspiration from a still life of natural forms. Sasha will provide an assortment of drawing & printing materials but you are welcome to bring along any sources of inspiration such as text, images, cuttings...
Old clothes are advisable although the Guild does have aprons you can use on the day.
