During this workshop you will learn how to manipulate fabric in a variety of ways to create exciting dyed patterns on either a cotton tote bag or a cushion cover.
The day will begin with creating a number of fabric samples as you experiment using the various Shibori techniques of folding, twisting, tying and clamping of shapes & objects.
After this you can apply your favourite technique and create your own unique pattern on either a tote bag or a cushion cover which will be ready to take home at the end of the day.
All materials will be provided. We have aprons and disposable gloves for you to use. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
