Contemporary flat weave rug showing a wonderful use of bold shapes and colours. Inspiration behind the rug is taken from the Ghanaian handwoven textile cloth of strips of silk and cotton and Vicky's response to Kente Cloth."I've always loved Kente cloth, and wove a rug called 'I want to go to West Africa' in 1985. This one woven in 2023 is called 'I Wanted To Go To West Africa. I never did get there!' "
