Momoka is a Japanese-born, UK-based textile artist whose handwoven denim works explore memory, time, and identity. Using bleach, sandpaper, and knife treatments, she creates textures that evoke erosion and fading. Subtle gold lines mark traces of preservation. Her slow, meditative process reflects the passage of time, inviting viewers to find beauty in imperfection and the quiet presence of materials with history.
